Being committed means doing it anyway, even if I don’t want to. And today I didn’t want to do much of anything. The girls were home from school and fighting so much… a big distraction from my usual routine.
100 DAYS OF WEIGHT LOSS, DAY 3
I was thinking about starting Jillian Michaels Body Revolution today, but the kids kind of torpedoed that plan. I did take three walks with my dog Pepper, though, which was nice. The weather was perfect and I love any chance I get to admire the beautiful fall foliage. Plus it was good to get out of the house before saying good riddance to Minecraft and throwing the iPad out the window.
I’ve been journaling every night before bed which is a good way to clear my head. I know that some days I won’t feel like exercising or eating right, but I will do it anyway… and write it down.
- Exercise: Walks around the neighborhood.
- Steps: 3814. I don’t think my Shine tracker catches all my steps when I’m holding a leash. Going to try putting it on my hip instead of my wrist.
- Craving: Chicken! I’m vegetarian, so totally weird.
- Reading: Caught up on a few blogs.
